Alaska State Troopers (AST) WAANT requested a K-9 sniff on a parcel package that was being sent to a village on 02/11/2025, at approximately 1523 hours. At approximately 1657 hours, K-9 Zeus and his handler assisted Alaska State Troopers Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team. K-9 Zeus alerted on the parcel package. A search warrant was obtained, and 38 grams of methamphetamines, and four bottles of alcohol were seized from the parcel package. AST WAANT is further investigating this matter.
