Bethel Fire Department Calls

for week ending January 26

• 1-20-18 3:15 p.m. medics responded to the Sobering Center for a person with anxiety. Patient transported to the hospital.
• 1-20-18 7 p.m. firefighters responded to BNC Apartments for a smell of smoke and an alarm going off. Firefighters found that a pump in the water system was stuck open and frozen and that system had an warning alarm attached to it that was going.
• 1-21-18 at 9:19 pm Firefighters responded to Lulu Herron for the report of an oven fire. Firefighters found fire to be out on arrival, opened windows to clear smells and returned to quarters.
• 1-22-18 at 2:29 am medics responded to the area of 7Th Ave for the report of a person with Insomnia. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 1-22-18 medics responded to the area of the Trailer Court for the report of a person with alcohol withdrawals. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 1-23-18 at 5:23 pm Medics responded to the AC Main Store for the report of two intoxicated persons. Both patients were assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 1-23-18 at 8:49 pm Firefighters responded to the area of Amy’s Way for the report of a person having trouble with their smoke detectors. Firefighters checked smoke detectors and found them to be in working order but that the house had been cold earlier in the day causing detectors to sound as they warmed up.
• 1-23-18 at 10:57 pm Medics responded to the area of Hangar Lake Road for the report of a person with a laceration to the face. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 1-24-18 medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for an intoxicated person. The patient refused medical care and was transported by Bethel CSP.
• 1-25-18 medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for a person that was fainted. Patient was assessed and transported to YKDRH-ER.
• 1-25-18 4:05 p.m. medics responded to the area of Akakeek for a person down CPR in progress. On arrival it was determined that patient was breathing and an intoxicated person did CPR and caused more damage than good.
• 1-26-18 2:46 a.m. medics responded to the Sobering Center for a person saying their heart was beating too slowly. Patient’s heart was beating faster than normal not too slow. Patient transported to the hospital.
• 1-26-17 5:38 a.m. firefighters responded to BNC Complex for a fire alarm going off. Firefighters determined alarm was set off by dust.
