Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending September 2

• On 08-09-19 at 5:39 p.m., medics responded to Front Street for the report of an intoxicated person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 08-10-19 at 12:43 a.m., medics responded to the Sobering Center for the report of a person with blisters on her feet. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-10-19 at 4:19 a.m., medics responded to the Prematernal Home for the report of a person’s water breaking. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-10-19 at 6:09 p.m. medics responded to Larson Sub for a person with a dog bite. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-10-19 at 10:17 p.m., Firefighters responded to the Air traffic Control for the report of a tundra fire southeast of the flight tower. Firefighters observed a tundra fire burning approximately 2-3 miles from the flight tower. Firefighters determined that the fire was not endangering any homes so Firefighters contacted McGrath Alaska Forester. The cause of the fire is undetermined.

• On 08-12-19 at 2:01 p.m., medics responded to Swanson’s Hardware for report of a person that has been assaulted. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 08-14-19 at 9:14 p.m. medics responded to East Avenue for report of a person with a concussion. The patient was assessed and refused to go to the hospital.

• On 08-15-19 at 1:10 a.m. firefighters responded to the Sobering Center for report of a fire alarm going off. Firefighters reset fire alarm and determined to be set off on accident.

• On 08-15-19 at 5:16 a.m. medics responded to the highway near Q2 for report of a person not breathing. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 08-15-19 at 5:25 a.m. medics responded to the boat harbor for two hypothermic persons. Single patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 08-15-19 at 3:40 p.m. medics responded to Joe Lomack Beach for the report of a highly intoxicated person. The patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 08-15-19 at 8:34 p.m. medics responded to Uivik for the report of a person having a stroke. The patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 08-16-19 at 12:17 a.m. medics responded to Long-Term Care for the report of a person in respiratory distress. The patient assessed and transported to the hospital.
