Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending September 1

• On 8-28-17 at 9:36 a.m. medics responded to the CHSB Building for the report of a person having seizures. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-28-17 at 11:49 pm medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of a person having withdrawals. Patient was assessed and refused transport to the hospital.

• On 8-29-17 at 12:10 a.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of a person who could not stop vomiting. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-29-17 at 1;35 a.m. medics responded to the BNC Complex for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-29-17 at 1;49 a.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of a person hearing things. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 8-29-17 at 1:00 p.m. medics responded to Alaska Airlines for a person unresponsive on the jet. Patient transported to the hospital.

• On 8-29-17 at 4:06 p.m. medics responded to the Long Term Care for an elder with an infection and high fever. Patient transported to the hospital.

• On 8-29-17 at 10:21 p.m. medics responded to the area of Blueberry Subdivision for a person that tried to commit suicide. Patient went with officers.

• On 8-30-17 at 1:30 a.m. medics responded to Front Street for a male with stroke symptoms. Patient agreed to go to hospital but with wife.

• On 8-30-17 at 9:55 p.m. firefighters responded to Kaligtuq Street for report of a fire. Fire was out upon arrival. Firefighters investigated and returned to quarters.

• On 8-31-17 at 12:13 a.m. medics responded to AC Main Store parking lot for report of a person bleeding from the face. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 9-1-17 at 8:53 a.m. medics responded to Atsaq Street for the report of a person not breathing. Patient was assessed and found to be deceased. The scene was turned over to the Bethel Police Department. Medics returned to quarters.

• On 9-1-17 at medics responded to the airport for the report of a person with a cut on their head. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
