Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending October 19

• On 10/12/18 at 11:59 a.m. medics responded to Bethel Regional High School for the report of a person experiencing an anxiety attack. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/12/18 at 21:02 p.m. medics responded to YKHC Emergency Room for the report of a person backing into a light pole. The patient was assessed and released.
• On 10/12/18 at 11:42 p.m. medics responded to BNC Complex for the report of an unresponsive person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/13/18 at 8:20 p.m. medics responded to the Bethel Regional High School for the report of a person with a dislocated shoulder. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/14/18 at 2:16 a.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan Road for the report of a person who was vomiting. The patient assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/14/18 at 2:06 p.m. medics responded to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center for the report of a person experiencing alcohol withdrawals. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/15/18 at 12:30 p.m. medics responded to Tundra Ridge Subdivision for the report of a child locked in a room, due to doors not working. Crews were able to open the doors and free the child.
• On 10/15/18 at 3:25 p.m. medics responded to the Teen Center for a person with a broken arm. The patient assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/17/18 at 8:09 a.m. medics responded to the area of the AC Main Store for the report of a person injured in a vehicle accident. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 10/18/18 at 12:30 a.m. firefighters responded to Tundra Ridge Subdivision for the report of a fire. Upon arrival, firefighters observed a bonfire. Firefighters advised the homeowner of the ban on open burning within city limits.
• On 10/19/18 at 12:50 a.m. medics responded to the area of Akakeek Street for the report of a person who had taken drugs. The patient was transported to the hospital by Bethel Police Department Officers.
• On 10/19/18 at 8:49 a.m. medics responded to the area of Front Street for the report of a person with blisters on their feet. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• From 10/17/18 – 10/18/18 there were also four other calls involving intoxicated persons who were unable to walk at AC Main, bleeding from the head at Weber Circle, and one who had a behavioral outburst at Tundra Ridge.
