Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending May 25

• On 05-17-18 at 3:23 p.m. medics responded to the YKHC Sobering Center for the report of a person who was too intoxicated. The patient was left in the care of Sobering Center staff.
• On 05-17-18 at 4:06 p.m. medics responded to Larson Subdivision for the report of a person who was not breathing. While enroute, dispatch advised that CPR was in progress. Medics performed CPR and transported the patient to the hospital.
• On 05-19-18 at 7:33 p.m. medics responded to Atsaq Road for the report of a person who was bitten by another person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 5-20-18 at 9:24 p.m. Medics responded to Ptarmigan Street for the report of a person who was bitten by a dog. The patient was assessed and refused transport to the hospital.
• On 05-21-18 at 6:56 p.m. medics responded to the BNC Complex for the report of two intoxicated people who ingested rubbing alcohol. Both patients were assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 05-21-18 at 8:40 p.m. medics responded to the BNC Complex for the report of an intoxicated person who was lying unconscious on the ground. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 5-22-18 at 4:17 p.m. medics responded to the Sobering Center for a report of a person vomiting blood. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 5-22-18 at 8:53 p.m. medics responded to the Jail for a report of a person bleeding from face. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 05-23-18 at 6:01 p.m. medics responded to Front Street for the report of an intoxicated person who was lying unconscious on the ground. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 05-23-18 at 6:53 p.m. firefighters responded to Tundra Ridge Subdivision for the report of a fire in a storage yard. Upon arrival, firefighters observed a stack of insulated pipes and wooden pallets burning. The fire was extinguished and the contents were overhauled. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
• On 05-24-18 at 12:07 a.m. firefighters responded to Ptarmigan Road for the report of a pile of clothing that was burning. Upon arrival, the fire had already been extinguished by the occupant. Firefighters overhauled the contents, gathered information, and returned to quarters.
• 5-24-18 9 a.m. medics responded to Lulu Heron for a person vomiting. Transported to the hospital.
• 5-24-18 5:30 p.m. firefighters responded to Crowley for a fire. Crowley crews were burning off propane in order to work on a tank. Firefighters then returned to station.
