Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending May 18

• On 5-13-17 at or around 9:30am Medics responded to 1ST Avenue for a person who needed a lift assist. The patient was assisted up and refused transported to the hospital, patient signed refusal form, medics returned to station.
• On 5-14-17 at 8:45am, Medics responded to the Sobering Center for the report of a person who had been assaulted. Medics assessed and transported the patient to YKER.
• On 5-14-17 at 11:20am, Medics responded to Long Term Care for a person who had passed out. Patient was assessed and taken to YKER. Medics returned to quarters.
• On 5-14-17 at 1:10pm Medics responded to Akakeek & Ptarmigan for the report of a person walking around with a bloody face. Medics assessed and transported the Patient to YKER. Medics returned to quarters.
• On 5-14-17 at 6:00pm Medics were dispatched to Atsaq for the report of a person with kidney stones. M5 was canceled in route and returned to quarters.
• On 5-15-17 at 3:55 pm EMTs responded to the Seawall near Front Street for the report of a person having a seizure. The patient was evaluated and refused to go to the hospital.
• On 5-15-17 at 1:00 AM EMTs responded to the report of a person inside an abandon vehicle unable to care for themselves. EMTS assessed and transported the patient to the hospital. Alcohol was a factor.
• On 5-15-17 at 1:05 AM Firefighters responded to assist EMTs in extricating their patient from a vehicle. The vehicle doors had to be removed using hydraulic spreaders.
• On 5-16-17 at 4:15 p.m. Medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of a person suffering alcohol withdrawal. Patient was assessed and transported to YKER.
• On 5-16-17 at 7:30 p.m. Firefighters responded to Ridgecrest for the report of a fire between buildings in the grass. Firefighters put out the fire and returned to quarters.
• On 5-16-17 at 7:45 p.m. Medics responded to 5th Ave and Willow for report of an intoxicated person. Patient refused treatment and went with CSP’s to sleep off. Medics returned to quarters.
• On 5/18/2017 at 8:30 PM EMTs responded to the area of Mission Lake Rd for the report of a person who fell sustaining injury. EMTs treated and transported the patient to the hospital for further evaluation.
• On 5-18-17 at 7:25 p.m. medics responded to the area of 3rd Avenue for a person not normal. On arrival medics assessed and transported to the patient to the hospital.
