Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending March 15

• Between 03/01/2022 and 03/29/2022, the Bethel Fire Department responded to 106 EMS and 10 Fire incidents.

• On 03/01/2022 at 10:36 p.m. medics responded to Tundra Ridge for the report of a person who was injured in a snowmachine accident. The patient was treated and transported to the hospital.

• On 03/02/2022 at 10:36 a.m. medics responded to a report of person who was experiencing signs and symptoms of a stroke. The patient was treated and transported to the hospital.

• On 03/14/2022 at 8:39 p.m. medics responded to the report of a person who injured themselves. Medics assessed the individual and found them to have injuries incompatible with life. The scene was left in custody of the Bethel Police Department for an investigation.

• On 03/14/2022 at 10:00 p.m. firefighters responded to H-Marker Road for the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke and flames emitting from the home and called for additional resources. Two individuals received burns from this incident and were transported to the hospital. The cause of the fire was determined to be unintentional.

• On 03/15/2022 at 6:11 p.m. firefighters responded to Atsaq Street for the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters observed a small fire burning on the deck outside. The fire was extinguished. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
