Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending July 26

• On 7-20-18 at 11:30 a.m. medics responded to Main Street for the report of a person having a seizure. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 7-20-18 at 5:04 p.m. medics responded to the area of Joe Lomack Beach for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient refused treatment and transport, walked away from medics. Medics returned to quarters.
• On 7-20-18 at 5:53 p.m. medics responded to YKCC for the report of a person having an allergic reaction. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 7-20-18 at 7:18 p.m. medics responded to the area of AC Main Store for the report of a person who had fallen and hit their head. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 7-20-18 at 10:46 p.m. medics responded to the Small Boat Harbor for the report of an intoxicated person unable to stand. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 07-21-18 at 9:27 p.m. medics responded to Joe Lomack Beach for the report of an intoxicated person unable to stand. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 07-22-18 at 3:22 a.m. medics responded to Trailer Court for the report of a person with a foot injury from stepping on glass. The patient was assessed, but refused transport. Medics returned to quarters.
• On 07-25-18 at 10:51 a.m. medics responded to Owl Street for the report of an expected home death. Medics confirmed death and transported the body to the YKDRH Morgue.
• On 07-25-18 at 1:00 p.m. firefighters responded to AC Main Store for a vehicle lock-out. Firefighters gathered information and unlocked the vehicle. Firefighters returned to quarters.
• On 07-25-18 at 8:34 p.m. medics responded to Akula Court for the report of a person who was coughing up blood. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 07-25-18 at 9:37 p.m. firefighters responded to Ptarmigan Road for the report of an alarm sounding. Firefighters performed air sampling, but were unable to locate any hazards. Firefighters advised the occupant to have the detectors replaced. Firefighters returned to quarters.
• On 07-25-18 at 10:47 p.m. firefighters responded to Uivik Subdivision for the report of a person experiencing a stroke. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 7-26-18 at 3:30 p.m. firefighters responded to Red Basket for a kitchen fire. On arrival fire was out, firefighters made sure the fire was out and searched the whole building to make sure. Firefighters then returned to station.
