Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending July 14

• On 6-8-19 at 7:13 p.m. medics responded to AC Quick stop for a person having a seizure. Patient assessed and they went to the ER with a friend.

• On 6-10-19 at 3:06 p.m. Medics responded to YHKC for the report of an MVA inside of the parking lot. The patients were assessed and refused transport to the hospital

• On 6-10-19 at 6:53 p.m. Medics responded to the area of Ptarmigan Rd. for an unresponsive person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 6-10-19 at 10:44 p.m. Medics responded to Trailer Court for the report of an intoxicated person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 6-10-19 at 11:38 p.m. Medics responded to Sixth Avenue for the report of a person who was assaulted. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 6-11-19 at 1:41 a.m. Firefighters responded to 576 6th Avenue for the report of fuel leaking out of a tank. Firefighters observed fuel spraying out of a fitting in front of the fuel water separator. Firefighters turned off the valve behind the fuel water separator, and placed absorbent pads to help absorb some of the fuel. The cause of the spill is still undetermined.

• On 6-11-19 at 11:47 a.m. Medics responded to Weber Circle for the report of a person with a sore throat. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 6-11-19 at 2:32 p.m. Firefighters responded to 372 Jacobs way for the report of a dumpster fire. Firefighters observed smoke and flames coming out of the top of the dumpster. Firefighters suppressed the fire with the CAF system. The cause of the fire was determined as accidental.

• On 6-11-19 at 6:17 p.m. Medics responded to the sea wall near the Lions Club for the report of an intoxicated person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 6-11-19 at 11:16 p.m. Medics responded to BIA sand pits for the report of an intoxicated female. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 6-13-19 at 4:55 p.m. Firefighters responded behind the new YK building for the report of lightning strike causing black smoke. Firefighters observed no smoke or flames. Firefighters investigated the area found nothing. Firefighters went back into service.

• On 6-13-19 at 7:31 p.m. Firefighters responded to 622 Ptarmigan for the report of a fire barrel that dumped over. Firefighters observed no smoke or flames, Firefighters overhauled to ensure no remaining embers. The cause of the fire was determined as an accident.

• On 6-14-19 at 12:08 a.m. Medics responded to Joe Lomack Beach for the report of an intoxicated person who fell over. The Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
