Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending February 14

• 2-8-19 at 7:46 p.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of a person with alcohol withdrawals. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital

• 2-8-19 at 8:37 p.m. medics responded to East Ave. for the report of a person that was assaulted. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-8-19 at 10:57 p.m. medics responded to Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy. for the report of a person having an allergic reaction. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-8-19 at 11:52 p.m. medics responded to Hangar Lake Road for the report of a person on the ground. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-12-19 at 12:15 a.m. medics responded to the Sobering Center for a person with facial trauma. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-12-19 at 6:33 p.m. Firefighter responded to Larson and Blueberry Subdivisions for the report of smoke being from city sub division. Firefighter observed no smoke in both Larson and Blueberry sub divisions. Firefighters believe that RP saw the steam coming from YKHC, and mistook it for smoke.

• 2-13-19 at 2:32 p.m. Firefighters responded to 9228 Tundra Ridge Sub division for the report of smoke plume coming from the building. Firefighters observed no smoke or fire when on scene. Firefighters determined the cause of the smoke was from an unmaintained boiler.

• 2-13-19 at 6:25 p.m. Medics/Firefighters responded behind AC Quick for the report of children falling into the ice. Both children were assessed and released to their parents.

• 2-13-19 at 11:17 p.m. Medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of an intoxicated person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-14-19 at 10:30 a.m. Medics responded to 10:30 a.m. for the report of a person who hurt themselves. Patient refused care and medics cleared the scene.

• 2-14-19 at 3:30 p.m. Medics responded to the playground for a report of a person who fell off the play set. Patient was treated and transported to YKER.

• 2-14-19 at 7:30 p.m. Medics responded to a man down at the Covenant Church. Patient was assessed and refused transport.

• 2-14-19 at 9:30 p.m Medics responded to the highway for the report of a person who crashed a water truck. Patient was assessed and refused treatment or transport.
