Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending December 7

• On 11-30-18 5:43 p.m. Firefighters responded to the small boat harbor for the report of a vehicle lock out. Vehicle was unlocked and turned over to owner. Firefighters cleared scene and returned to quarters.

• On 11-30-18 at 6:25 p.m. medics responded to Akakeek Street for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-3-18 at 11:25 a.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan for the report of a person having a stroke. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-3-2018 at 5:53 p.m. medics responded to Eddy Hoffman state Hwy. for the report of a person jumping out of a moving car. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-3-2018 at 10:18 p.m. medics responded to Eddy Hoffman State Hwy. for the report of unresponsive person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-4-2018 at 3:30 a.m. medics responded to the area of the AC Store for the report of a person with chest pain. The Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-5-18 at 4:35 a.m. medics responded to the area of Ptarmigan Drive for the report of a person coughing up blood. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-5-18 at 3:09 p.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan Drive for the report of a sick person. The patient was assessed and not transported to the hospital

• On 12-5-2018 at 8:02 p.m. Firefighters responded to Ridgecrest for the report of smoke coming from the boiler room. Firefighters observed smoke inside the boiler room as well as the house its self, and firefighters deployed an ALT-AIR 5 to check for carbon monoxide. The house was ventilated using positive pressure. The cause of the fire was caused by heating oil leaking into the pilot light of the water heater.

• On 12-5-2018 at 8:23 p.m. medics responded to the Akakeek area for the report of a person over-dosing. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital by PD.

• On 12-6-18 at 7:50 p.m. medics responded to Jacobs Way for a person with a hurt hand. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-7-18 at 4:10 a.m. medics responded to East Avenue for a person going through withdrawals. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 12-7-18 at 7:38 a.m. firefighters responded to the Courthouse for fire alarms going off. The alarms were going off due to system malfunction. System reset and firefighters cleared.
