Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending August 24

• On 8-18-18 at 10:52 a.m. medics responded to the area of Ptarmigan Street for the report of a person with an irregular heartbeat. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 8-18-18 at 11:33 a.m. medics responded to the river bank by BSAR for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 8-18-18 at 5;24 p.m. medics responded to the area of Ptarmigan Street for the report of a person with chest pain. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 08-19-18 at 11:53 p.m. firefighters responded to 3rd Avenue for the report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, the vehicle was fully involved in fire. Firefighters deployed a hose line and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire in under investigation.
• On 8-20-18 at 1:51 p.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan for a person vomiting blood. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 08-21-18 at 2:06 p.m. firefighters responded to the YK Fitness Center for the report of a chemical spill. The chemicals were identified and the spilled materials were removed from a cargo container. Firefighters returned to quarters.
• On 08-21-18 at 11:31 p.m. medics responded to Kasayuli Subdivision for the report of a person complaining of chest pain. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 08-22-18 at 1:38 a.m. medics responded to Trailer Court for the report of a person who intentionally overdosed on medication. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 8-22-18 at 11:09 a.m. medics responded to AC main for an intoxicated person having a seizure. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 8-22-18 at 9:38 p.m. medics responded to the Sobering Center for a person with chest pain. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 8-22-18 at 11:05 p.m. medics responded to Tundra Ridge for a person with back pain. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 8-23-18 at 3:30 a.m. firefighters responded to the area of Crowley for a reported oil smell. Crews investigated and found no incident.
• On 8-23-18 at 6:47 p.m. medics responded to the area of Third Ave. for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
