Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending April 20

• 4-14-18 at 2:04 pm Medics responded to the area of AC Main Store for the report of a person with a fast heart rate. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 4-14-18 at 3:10 pm medics responded to the area of the BNC Complex for the report of a person who could not stand. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 4-14-18 at 5:50 pm Medics responded to the area of AC Main Store for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient refused treatment and was transported to the Sobering Center by BPD Officers.
• 4-14-18 at 10:55 pm Medics responded to Delapp Street for the report of a person who had fallen from a window. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 4-15-18 at 6:26 am Medics responded to the Tundra Suites for the report of a person vomiting blood. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 4-15-18 at 7:31 am Firefighters responded to BIA for the report of a fire. Unable to completely put out fire, the decision was made to let fire burn itself out. Firefighters returned to quarters.
• On 04-15-18 at 6:16 p.m. firefighters responded to the area of Standard Oil Road for the report of a possible fire. Upon arrival, no fire was observed. The smoke was caused by a waste oil burner that was operating normally.
• 4-16-18 5:53 p.m. medics responded to the City Port for a person falling off the sea wall on to the ice. The patient was hanging on the sea wall. Medics had to put on suits and use a rescue device to retrieve the patient, the ice was not stable next to the wall. Patient then transported to the hospital.
• 4-16-18 10:22 p.m. medics responded to Webber Circle for a person that cut their wrist. Patient was transported to hospital.
• On 04-27-18 at 3:20 p.m. medics responded to Swanson’s for the report of a person who was vomiting. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• 4-18-18 9:35 a.m. medics responded to Hangar Lake Road for a person with no pulse and no breathing. Patient deceased on arrival scene turned over to BPD.
• 4-19-18 7:20 a.m. Firefighters responded to Hangar Lake RD for a fire. Firefighters then found a shed on fire and extinguished the fire.
• 4-20-18 at 5:50 am Medics responded to Naunraq Street for the report of a person who had taken too many pills. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
