Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending 

August 23

• On 07/14/2024 at 9:19 a.m. medics responded to the report of a person not breathing. EMS initiated CPR in the field, patient was transported to the hospital, and continued CPR at the hospital.

• On 07/14/2024 at 1:54 p.m. medics responded to a person experiencing groin pain and swelling. It was observed that patient’s groin swelled 3 times normal size. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/14/2024 2:22 p.m. medics responded to an intoxicated person that unresponsive in the back of a cab vehicle. Patient was removed from the cab, assessed, and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/14/2024 8:56 p.m. medics responded to a person experiencing a fast heart rate. Upon further assessment, patients consumed alcohol regularly and had prior heart conditions. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/15/2024 at 12:10 a.m. medics responded to a victim of domestic violence. Injuries were present, patient was assessed, and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/15/2024 at 1:46 a.m. medics responded to the report of a person having trouble breathing. Upon further assessment, patient reported to have abdominal pain, and chest pain. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/15/2024 at 3:54 p.m. medics responded to a report of a person experiencing convulsions. Upon further assessment, patient possibly experienced a seizure. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/15/2024 at 4:32 p.m. medics responded to a report of a person experiencing heart palpitations. Medics were requested to stand down as patient took a cab to the hospital.

• On 07/16/2024 at 1:56 p.m. medics responded to a report of a person with a possible broken knee. Patient was assessed, extremity was stabilized, and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/17/2024 at 1:32 a.m. medics responded to a report of an unconscious and intoxicated person. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07/17/2024 at 2:42 a.m. medics responded to the report of a person with a cut. No patient was found, medics and police cleared the scene.

• On 07/17/2024 at 8:27 p.m. medics responded to the report of a patient experiencing possible opioid withdrawals and highly combative. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
