On 06-08-2025 at 12:39 AM, firefighters were dispatched to respond to a house fire that could be observed from a neighboring residence. Prior to arrival firefighters were notified that police had cleared the scene and it was a bonfire. Firefighters contacted the residence, confirmed it was a controlled bonfire, and encouraged the residence to have a fire extinguisher on hand as a safety measure. Engine 5 returned to service.
