Bethel City Election Results

The City of Bethel held their municipal election on October 5th, 2021. Four city council members were elected out of a pool of six candidates. Incumbents Mark Springer and Conrad “CJ” McCormick were re-elected along with Eric Whitney, who served on council in the past, and Mary “Beth” Hessler. The newly-electees will serve 2 year terms.

There are 4,175 registered voters in Bethel. Percent of voter turnout was 11.26%. The Canvass Board met on October 7th and jointly certified that the election results were accurate. The Bethel City Council will certify the results by resolution making them official during their October 12th, 2021 regular council meeting.

The new council members will be sworn in by oath and will begin their official duties immediately after, joining Mayor Michelle DeWitt, and council members Perry Barr, and Rose “Sugar” Henderson. Outgoing council members are Vice Mayor Haley Hanson and Alyssa Leary.
