Bethel athletes selected for 3A/4A Senior All Star Game

Ava Lieb and Peter Crow also chosen for 3A All-State 2nd Teams.

Bethel Regional High School student athletes, Ava Lieb and Peter Crow, were selected to play in the AABC (Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches) Senior All-Star game which is being held the weekend of April 15, 2022. The announcement was made last Thursday by Bethel Regional High School Athletic Director Darren Leib.

“It is with great pleasure and excitement that I get to share this information with you,” he wrote. “They have a jam packed schedule to adhere to before they get to show their talents the night of April 16.”

During the event there will be a Dunk Contest as well as a 3-Point Shooting contest. Tip off for the 3A/4A Senior Girls All-Star Game is set for 6 PM and the 3A/4A Senior Boys All-Star Game is set for 7:45 PM, both at the Grace Christian School in Anchorage, AK.

Both Ava Lieb and Peter Crow were also selected to the 3A All-State 2nd Teams. They were nominated and voted by a select group of coaches from around the State of Alaska proven to be part of the top 10 best players in Alaska this season.

“Congratulations to Coaches Regina Lieb and Eric Jung! You both had a great deal to make this happen for these fine young players. Great job!” said Lieb.
