AST seeks help in homicide case

The Alaska State Troopers were notified of a body located along the Parks Highway north of Willow on 1/9/2021 at approximately 1330 hours. The remains appeared to be that of an adult female. The death was being investigated as a homicide. A tentative identification was made but positive identification, as well as cause and manner of death, was pending an autopsy.

On 1/13/21 the remains were positively identified as 26-year-old Arnoldine Simone Hill of Hooper Bay. Next of kin have been notified. On 1/15/21 autopsy confirmed that the manner of death was homicide. Arnoldine Simone Hill was last known to be alive on December 10, 2020 in Midtown Anchorage. She may have been in Anchorage, Wasilla or Willow preceding her death. Ms. Hill is an Alaska Native. She was 4’11’’ tall and approximately 150 pounds. Ms. Hill had shoulder length dark brown hair and a distinct mole below her lower right lip. If anyone has any information regarding Ms. Hill’s locations or know people she may have interacted with following Dec. 10, they are encouraged to report the information to AST at 907-352-5401.
