The Alaska Coastal Conference basketball tournament hosted by the Lower Kuskokwim School District is set to start on March 1st, 2025 at the WarriorDome in Bethel. High school girls and boys teams will be vying for the one berth to the state championships in Anchorage to be held March 12-15, 2025. For the girls, there is the top-seeded team from Tuntutuliak, Kasigluk-Akula, Toksook Bay, Kasigluk-Akiuk, Chefornak, Kipnuk, Quinhagak, and Napaskiak. Boys teams from Kipnuk – top seed, Newtok, Kwethluk, Chefornak, Kasigluk-Akula, Eek, Kongiganak, and Toksook Bay are on the bracket. Other 1A tournaments are also taking place all over the state.
