The Akiak Native Community IGAP sponsored their village’s 2018 Clean Up Green Up project this year. They sent this photo of the participants in front of the community building before they started picking up litter on the last day, 5/23/18. “Quyana to Akiak Native Community, City of Akiak, Kokarmuit Corporation, Akiak Clinic, AVCP-RHA, ALPAR, and Donlin Gold for your donations. Also, to AVCP Administration for an AVCP sweater. Thank you to this year’s Clean Up/Green Up supervisors, Titiana Albrite and Josephine Jackson,” said the IGAP Department. Congratulations to this year’s bike prize winners: 16” boys bike- Taylor Jackson, 16” girls bike- Aletta Thomas, 20” boys bike- Sean Jackson, 20” girls bike- Chloe Alexie, 24” bike- Selena Chikoyak. Also, to Matthew Ivan who won the AVCP sweater.
