Aircraft Emergency Landing

The Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a report from the U.S Army Air Traffic Control unit located at Fort Wainwright on 09/19/2022 at approximately 1854 hours, of a plane having an inflight emergency. It was reported that a plane had ran out of fuel and needed to make an emergency landing on the Richardson highway. Troopers located the plane after it had made an emergency landing at the intersection of Badger Road and Lakloey Drive. Troopers closed a section of Badger Road at approximately 1945 hours so that the aircraft could take off. At 1951 hours Malcolm and his aircraft were able to safely take off from Badger Road. The FAA had been notified of this incident.
