Ethan Cooke (at left) and Avery Hoffman of Bethel are the banner and star carriers for the St. Sophia Russian Orthodox Church during last week’s Slaaviq caroling at the Lulu Heron apartments. The carolers sang for the residents, bringing Christmas cheer and good tidings.
