I would like to say a very big “Thank you!” to our youth litter patrollers (40), youth supervisors (7), and adult volunteers (9) that put in their own time to clean up our community! A total of 100 bags of trash, 5 bags of #1 PETE plastic bottles, and 1 bag of crushed cans were picked up in two days!
I would like to thank all the donations received from the: St. Mary’s School District, St. Mary’s Native Corporation, Yupiit of Andreafski, ALPAR, Pitka’s Point Village Council, Pitka’s Point Native Corporation, YRITWC, AVEC, Andreafski Townsite Women’s Club, Nerklikmute Native Corporation, Alaska Commercial Company, AVCP RHA, Algaaciq Tribal Government, City of St. Mary’s, Donlin Gold, and Sergie Nick. It is the donations that make the clean up possible every year!
