Brief Life History

Vincent graduated May 1981 from the Bethel Regional High School. A month after he graduated, he enlisted in the regular United States Army in June 1981 for six years and was honorably discharged on June 29, 1987.

As for his last occupation, he worked for the Xerox Corporation in contract with the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation for about 15 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed going subsistence moose hunting, fishing, and berry picking with his family. He was a friendly and humble man. He got along well with everyone he’s met, even those that he met for the first time being the last. He always left a great impression.

He was a great son to have, husband to his wife Kathy, father to his two children Sabrina and Travis, owner to his dog Oreo, brother to his oldest sister Peggy and brother Joe, uncle, cousin, nephew, overall relative, coworker wherever he was employed at, classmate, friend and acquaintance to all of the people he’s met. He will be missed greatly by all of those whose lives he had touched.

Despite the many hardships that he had to face throughout his illness, he continued to have a positive outlook on life. They day before he passed away, he said, “I love you all.”
