The AT&T tower in Bethel was finally felled after years had passed to take it down. On February 15th, 2017 at approximately 10:45am the tower located in Bethel, which is hundreds of feet tall came down with a thunderous crash. Approximately 15 AT&T employees were on site to demobilize it. “The lifecycle of the tower was up and it was time to take it down. We did a lot of planning and it was executed perfectly,” said Don Pinell. There will be no replacement at this time. The company had been planning on taking it down for several years since they were no longer using it. Above are 2 workers checking out the fallen tower.
