“Socks in the Frying Pan” Performing in Bethel April 6

Ending their tour in Alaska and sponsored by Bethel Council on the Arts, Socks in the Frying Pan will be performing at the YP Cultural Center 7:00 pm Friday, April 6. Socks in the Frying Pan is a multi-award winning trio from County Clare on the West coast of Ireland, the hub of Irish traditional music. Their vocal harmonies, musical ability and onstage wit has captured and captivated audiences the world around. They are one of the most sought after groups in Irish music today.
Socks in the Frying Pan is comprised of Aodán Coyne on guitar and vocals, Shane Hayes on accordion, and Fiachra Hayes on fiddle & banjo. This youthful trio blend Irish traditional melodies with their own personal flair, gaining them critical acclaim including ‘New Band of the Year’ by the Irish Music Association.
Tickets are available at the door, at the YP Gift Shop Tuesday-Sat afternoons, and through email to [email protected], where pickup/delivery can be arranged or will call. Tickets are $20 with a student rate of $10. Food with an Irish touch will be at concessions.
