A man in Pilot Station is deceased after being shot, said the Alaska State Troopers. On 4/13/17 at about 0029 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a fatal shooting in Pilot Station. A Village Police Officer in the community confirmed that Dennis Alick, 27 of Pilot Station, was deceased. A suspect has been identified. Troopers responded to Pilot Station and investigation is ongoing. Next of kin for Alick has been notified. Alick’s body will be transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy. Bethel Violent Offenders Unit took case responsibility and responded to Pilot Station to process the scene. After investigation and consulting with the Bethel DAO, Brian Fancyboy, 23 of Pilot Station, was arrested for Murder in the First Degree and Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Second Degree. He was transported to Bethel and booked into YKCC. AST aircraft from St. Mary’s and Aniak assisted with transportation.
