Change out your smoke alarm batteries

As you may already know the Fire Service uses the time change that happens twice a year as a prompt to change your smoke alarm batteries. Be safe and have a great weekend.

Sunday November Fifth clocks go back one hour as Daylight Savings Time Ends. That gives you an extra hour to do something important. When you rollback your clocks, take the time to also test and change out the batteries in smoke alarms. This Message is brought to you by the Office of the Alaska State Fire Marshal.
