Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending June 8

• On 06-01-18 at 8:43 p.m. firefighters responded to BNC Unit 16 for the report of a fire alarm. Upon arrival, no smoke or flames were showing. Firefighters determined that the alarm was caused by a water pump malfunction.
• On 06-01-18 at 9:04 p.m. medics responded to the Boardwalk near Akakeek Street for the report of an intoxicated person who was unconscious. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-03-18 at 5:45 p.m. medics responded to the area of the BNC Complex for the report of an intoxicated person. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-04-18 at 11:40 a.m. medics responded to Sixth Avenue for the report of an intoxicated person who consumed isopropyl rubbing alcohol. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-06-18 at 7:20 a.m. firefighters responded to the KUC Dormitory for the report of a fire alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that burned food had activated the smoke alarm. Firefighters returned to quarters.
• On 06-06-18 at 1:49 p.m. medics responded to the area behind AC Main Store for the report of an intoxicated person who had collapsed. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-06-18 at 5:54 p.m. firefighters responded to Kasayuli Subdivision for a vehicle lock-out. The vehicle was unlocked for the owner. Firefighters returned to quarters.
• On 06-06-18 at 6:13 p.m. firefighters responded to Owl Park for the report of a grass fire that had already been extinguished by a bystander. Upon arrival, it was determined that children had started the fire. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Fire Department.
• On 06-07-18 at 3:09 a.m. medics responded to Akakeek Street for the report of an intoxicated person lying in the middle of the roadway. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-07-18 at 3:30 a.m. medics responded to Atsaq Road for the report of an elder who fell out of their wheelchair and could not get up. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-07-18 at 4:18 p.m. medics responded to the area of AC Main Store for the report of a person who was run over by a vehicle. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-08-18 at 11:57 a.m. medics responded to Salmonberry Drive for the report of an intoxicated person who was unconscious in the back of a taxi cab. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
• On 06-08-18 at 2:20 p.m. firefighters responded to the Cultural Center parking lot for the report of a dog locked inside a vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked and firefighters returned to quarters.
