Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending July 20

• On 07-15-17 at 1:45 a.m., Medics responded to AVCP for the report of a person who was assaulted. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07-15-17 at 8:42 p.m., medics responded to Swanson’s for the report of an intoxicated person who unconscious. Upon contacting the individual, they woke up and walked away. Medics returned to quarters.

• On 07-15-17 at 10:00 p.m., medics responded to Fourth Avenue for the report of an intoxicated person. The patient was assessed by medics, but was transported to the YKHC Sobering Center by BPD Officers.

• On 07-16-17 at 1:30 p.m., medics responded to Chief Eddie Hoffman Highway for the report of a person laying in the road. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• O n 07-16-17 at 4:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the area of Ridgecrest Drive for the report of a car fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and overhauled the contents. The cause of the fire was undetermined.

• On 07-16-17 at 9:00 p.m., medics responded to Alex Hatley Drive for the report of a person who had been assaulted. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07-18-17 at 7:00 a.m., firefighters responded to Sixth Avenue for the report of a shed on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and overhauled the contents. The cause of the fire was undetermined.

• On 07-18-17 at 12:18 p.m., firefighters responded to Alex Hately Drive for the report of a person with their foot stuck in a bicycle. The person was extricated from the bike, without harm, and firefighters returned to quarters.

• On 07-19-17 at 2:21 a.m., medics responded to Hoffman Road for the report of a person experiencing numbness. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07-19-17 at 6:33 p.m., medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for the report of an intoxicated individual having a behavioral episode. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07-19-17 at 6:58 p.m., medics responded to Pinky’s Park Boardwalk for the report of an intoxicated individual who was unable to stand. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 07-19-17 at 10:54 p.m., firefighters responded to the seawall for the report of a person in the river needing rescue. Upon arrival, it was determined the individual did not actually jump in the water. The individual was transported to the hospital by Bethel Police Officers.

• On 07-20-17 at 4:26 p.m., medics responded to Akiak Street for the report of a person experiencing alcohol withdrawals. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
