Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending February 16

 

• 2-12-18 4:07 medics responded to the area of Hangar Lake road for a person not breathing. Patient was deceased on arrival.

• 2-12-18 8:52 p.m. firefighters responded to the area of Hangar Lake for a structure fire. On arrival, the people on scene were carrying out a tradition of burning clothes of the deceased. Firefighters let them continue and left the scene.

• 2-14-18 12:30 p.m. medics responded to the area of City Sub for a person having a stroke. Patient transported to the hospital.

• 2-14-18 11:14 p.m. medics responded to the area by the Tundra Center for an intoxicated person bleeding from face. Patient transported to the hospital.

• 2-14-18 11:59 p.m. medics responded to the Pinky’s Park boardwalk for an intoxicated person not responding. Patient transported to the hospital.

• On 02-15-18 at 1:58 p.m. medics responded to the airport for the report of an intoxicated person experiencing chest pain. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 02-15-18 at 2:51 p.m. medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for the report of an intoxicated person who was experiencing back pain after slipping and falling. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-15-18 at11:36 am Medics responded to the intersection of Alex Hately and Katie Hately for the report of a vehicle collision. All patients denied any injuries and refused treatment and transport to the hospital.

• 2-15-18 at 5:43 pm medics responded to Kwethluk Street for the report of a child who had touched a wood stove. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-15-18 at 7:32 pm medics responded to the AC Main Store for the report of an intoxicated person. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• 2-15-18 at 8:24 pm Firefighters responded to Fifth Ave. for the report of a Co detector going off. Firefighters checked house and found that a Toyo stove was giving off a small amount of CO, firefighters recommended that owner have stove serviced and returned to quarters.

• 2-16-18 at 6:41 am Firefighters responded to the Court House for the report of an alarm going off. Firefighters checked the building and found the alarm to be false, cleared the scene and returned to quarters.

• 2-16-18 at 7:42 am medics responded to Kaligtuq Street for the report of a person with a dislocated jaw. patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
