Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending April 19

 

• On 4/15/17 at 7:36 p.m. medics responded to Ridgecrest and Akakeek for report of person sleeping outside. The patient was assessed and refused transport to hospital.

• On 4/15/17 at 8:50 p.m. medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for the report of a person with a cut on the chin. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 4/16/17 at 2:24 p.m. medics responded to the Pinky’s Park boardwalk for the report of an intoxicated person who was unresponsive. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 4/17/17 at 1:00 p.m. medics responded to the YKHC Long Term Care Facility for the report of a patient experiencing a fever. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 4/17/17 at 1:47 p.m. medics responded to East Avenue for the report of a person who was unconscious on the ground. The patient was assessed and refused transport to the hospital. Medics returned to quarters.

• On 4/17/14 at 2:40 p.m. medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for the report of a person who was dizzy and vomiting. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 4/17/17 at 7:30 p.m. medics responded to Akiachak Drive for the report of a person who was unresponsive. The patient was assessed by medics and transported to the YKHC Sobering Center by BPD Officers.

• On 4/18/17 At 3:30 a.m. medics responded to Uivik Subdivision for the report of a person who had overdosed on pills. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 4/19/17 at 12:03 p.m. medics responded to Sixth Avenue for the report of a person who was unconscious on the ground. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 04/19/17 at 3:19 p.m. medics responded to the Pinky’s Park Boardwalk for the report of two intoxicated people who were unable to walk. Both patients were assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 04/19/17 at 4:40 p.m. firefighters responded to Mission Drive for a citizen’s complaint of unauthorized burning. Upon arrival, firefighters did not observe any fire. The homeowner was advised that open burning is prohibited within City limits, but could burn items in a covered burn barrel. Firefighters returned to quarters.

• On 4/19/17 at 7:00 p.m. medics responded to the river ice near Joe Lomack Beach for the report of a person who was pushed off sea wall. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 4/19/17 at 11:00 p.m., firefighters responded to Atsaq Street for the report of grass fire with multiple juveniles reported in the area. Firefighters found the fire had been extinguished, prior to arrival. Firefighters returned to quarters.
