The local 4-H summer program has been a great success in this year. Thank you to a great staff, volunteers and programs sponsors.

Our program sponsors this year are the City of Bethel, AVCP and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Summer program Camps have included gardening, animals, crafts, recreation, socialization, nutrition and lots and lots of fun!

The 4-H program numbers this summer have not been below 45 children each and every day. 4-H had over 70 participants walking in the parade for this year’s Fourth of July.

As we turn the corner towards the ending of summer, we will be preparing for our school year programs. If you are interested in being a volunteer, on the volunteer board, a resource leader to present with the afterschool club, or are interested in starting your own 4-H club or project, please come by the Center for more information.

The 4-H program office is at 519 Mission Dr. in City Subdivision Bethel, 543-2088.
